@mareobasbankz123 Confused at what you mean? They were doing the station is segments, they closed and took down one half of the platform to put up the new one, but to keep the station in service, they extended the platforms temporally.

Then the Frankford El no longer exists? I haven't ridden it since 1970 ot '71. I left the area altogether in 1972..

@bruce8420 Huh? Have you bothered looking at the Septa website at all? I haven't been to Europe but I bet I can tell you what class train cars they use on the LU by doing some research. The Frankford El exists, it was rebuilt in place like the whole line been but its still there.

i've ridden this from Bridge and Pratt in Frankford all the way out to 69th Street. It's subway in Center City, then elevated again in Frankford.

@bruce8420 Once upon a time, it was more elevated then subway. Beyond the point, I preferred the 69th st side because of original construction still in use where as the Frankford side got rid of theirs even though they do use the same middle piers to hold up the tracks.
