Inspirational music for 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc., America My Home is a patriotic song that gained popularity after the attacks of September 11, 2001. It has been performed live at military and veterans events, other patriotic concerts, and heard on TV, commercial and Christian radio, and Armed Forces radio, to audiences totalling over one million. This video is of a live performance by Country Music Showdown National Champion Ricky David Tripp one month after 9-11 before a cheering crowd waving the American flag and saluting our men and women in uniform. Written in 1999 by bestselling author Dr. George Simon (with words by George & Sherry Simon and arrangement by Jonathan Joyner), this tribute that some have dubbed a new national anthem will fill you with love and pride of country and give you goosebumps. • May freedom rang....Across America... My home.

  • @MrChris046 May freedom reign!

  • This guy is a true talent.....His voice on this song is magical and gives me goosebumps.....

  • @pattiraouf1 Ricky definitely had the right voice for the song and put sincerity and passion into it. We're so glad it touched you.

  • Some have wondered if this song is a "9-11" Song. It was written in 1998 and copyrighted in 1999. It was meant as an anthem for the new millennium, seeking to inspire others that America's greatness is not in its military might, economic power, or even its government, but rather in the character of its people, upon whom the survival of freedom depends. It gained popularity after 9-11, but it is definitely not a 9-11 song.

  • If you love this country, this song should make you swell with pride.

    Fabulous

  • @DEERMAN8 Thanks so much for your comment. The song began as a from the heart call to love and cherish this great country. I'm so glad it touched you.

  • Yes, May God Bless America! Americans have every reason to be proud of themselves. They're the Greatest nation of the post-eighteenth century world.

  • Nice song. My humble attempt at writing a song about modern patriotism can be heard by clicking my name to the left of this text block or searching "Patriots" and "Craig Silver."

  • Thank you so much for this beautiful song. This is what we really need to get back to. Our country needs more John Waynes and Ronald Reagans, people to be seriously proud of this Nation, to realize God has given us the greatest gift, Freedom.
