Some have wondered if this song is a "9-11" Song. It was written in 1998 and copyrighted in 1999. It was meant as an anthem for the new millennium, seeking to inspire others that America's greatness is not in its military might, economic power, or even its government, but rather in the character of its people, upon whom the survival of freedom depends. It gained popularity after 9-11, but it is definitely not a 9-11 song.
