even if Mosadeq was successful, he would had been set up by the Islamists, too
I don't say was or wasn't a dictator, during his time, it was necessary to get a little tough on opponents, but the fact is Islamic republic is 1 million time more brutal & damaging to Iran & Iranians
you can't even compair the two
Iranians were free to do what ever during Shah, only communists & other bull shit political parties were put to jail (not tortured 7 murderd the way IR does)

Moharam & Ashora is not about emotions, it's a shia self-made tradition and even all cryings are not real, they act or force themselves to cry because they think will forgive their sins
do you know why they walk around the streets beating their chest or slicing their heads (ghameh) during Moharam? because their ancestors actions led to death of imam Hosain, so they developed a new ceremony to ask forgiveness for their actions

The Iranians are primarily Shia Muslims. Those are the ones that celebrate Muharram. They walk around the streets beating their chests and cutting themselves to mourn for Imam Husayn; he died in 680 BCE. They are a passionate and emotional people who have not forgotten what happened. Also it doesn't matter what Mosadegh was going to do; he was hugely popular amongst the people, was democratically elected, and was replaced by a dictator. We have the potential to make them a great ally.

There is no proof that Mosadegh would had done any good for Iran, plus what ever he did was based on MohamadReza Sha's plans anyway, he tried to hijack power from the Shah and was a British agent himself, he had secret deals with the Brits to keep oil price at low level if he succeeded his take over
Iranians don't give much damn about mosadegh shit, that's past, they think about now and the future
they want these Mullahs out
