when we talk about amnesty about our ancestors being immigrants. Well of course we're all immigrants. But what happens when the land starts getting smaller and the economy starts ripping us apart. We should not stop immigration just adhere to the laws that are already in place that our government is not following. We need to slow immigration down. And receive the immigrants who really want to come here with purpose. And get our country back in order.

Mexican illegals for years are making good on their threat to take over land they think we stole from them. Little do they know we purchased this from the Mexican government.

The immigrants that come here legally learn about American history and the pride of our nation. Along with the fee they pay to be citizens which helps our economy. Is it fair to allow 10 million + illegal aliens free citizenship without learning American history without paying any fees. Our economy cannot sustain what we have today. We need to deport not give them free home which they do not respect.

HISTORY ......

Mexico acknowledged the loss of Texas, New Mexico, and California in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which was signed on February 2, 1848, ratified by the U.S. Senate on March 10, 1848, and by the Mexican government on May 19, 1848.
The United States also paid $15,000,000 ($298,310,309 in 2005 dollars) for the land, and agreed to assume $3.25 million in debts to US citizens.[2] The land ceded by Mexico is 14.9% of the total area of the current United States territory. 1.36 million km² (the Mexican Cession was 525,000 square miles (1,400,000 km2) and, if the other lands lost in Texas, Colorado, eastern New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma are included, 225,000 square miles (580,000 km2), Mexico lost 55% of its pre-war territory).[3] While technically the territory was purchased by the United States, the $15 million payment was simply credited against Mexico's enormous debt towards the U.S. at that time
