To those that think the V1 is too expensive your personal opinion but my V1 has paid itself off with in the first month I bought it. When I drove NY-CO in 24hours it was the detector I used. Now Radar detectors won't save you from laser guns but for laser guns I have a laser jammer on my car. My car is built for long road trips on the interstate with all the gadgets I got in it. When I get home for the summer I'll make a video of all the different things i have.

If you are looking for a cheap radar detector that works well do NOT get a cobra get BEL, or Whistler. The BEL v955 is a great detector for only $179, It has got great performance.

@protias Well as more people started running detectors at my college thanks to me their tickets went down so they found a new method to catch speeders I never told them directly how to do it.

But would you immediately start speeding again after the 1st full alert? Wouldn't you keep it cool for at least a little bit before you start speeding again? Multiple bogey feature is cool, but is it that beneficial? It's useful if you need to speed every minute you are driving.

@TheTeevo8 Most people do actually start speeding again right after they get passed the cop. That is something I have noticed after 10years of driving with about 20k per year.

@a4Audi2153 Yeah its been proven with all their automatic lock out detectors, but something people deal with. I guess its just something I am not willing to deal with

@robm425 ohh really? wow well i know you cant lock Ka band which always cops never false alerts but k band it only locks out that frequency at that location and i find that funny how you locked out police radar lmaoo wow! btw you can unlock marked places if you find yourself locking out police radar...

@a4Audi2153 Yeah but the problem I saw with the 9500i or xi was it was locking out real police radar which I am not a fan of. I'd rather mute the alerts that I don't want than have the detector mute the real alerts
