Paul Maynard MP for Blackpool North and Cleveleys speaks in Westminster Hall on the subject of Children's speech therapy.
Discussing both the educational system, health system and charities Paul addresses both the systems in place and the current systems which could be in place to improve children's services when it comes to language therapy.
From stigmatisation and funding to social action in the home and services provided locally and nationally Paul raises awareness of the variations in support needs for young people. He also addresses tick-box culture and how it is not suited to many people's needs.
After going through speech therapy himself Paul realises that support should suit the individual and not the other way around.
