When he said "Let's start off with some meditation." I really thought he was seriously going to pull some hippie thing.

i need a lot of help with memorising, i have spent weeks trying to remember the fret notes in order and stuff with a card that has a guitar on it and the notes, but it isnt helping for when i actually come to the guitar, i find it hard to remember all of them and to instantly know them but i looked at the exercises you have suggested and found them confusing (please help me!)

would it be possible to memorize the sound of each note on the fretboard?
wildwestpoint 3 months ago
@wildwestpoint That's called perfect pitch. Most people don't have the ability to memorize pitch. Relative pitch can be learned. That's when a pitch sounds and you're able to identify other notes relative to that pitch. By relative I mean how the tone is related to the initial pitch.
