I love Linux, but I just wish it supported more commercial programs. I have to dual boot with Windows for when I need to edit a video with Vegas or something.

For video editing , openSUSE is also having many good tools like . Kdenlive , cinrella , etc

@ShayonM Yeah. I'll have to try those out, but I am so comfortable with Sony Vegas that I don't know if I'll be able to change. I wish there was a way to run OpenSUSE then press a button and be running Win7. Haha.

@douglas09010 Ubuntu is the most user-friendly version and I would START with it. Nerds use linux, so the learning curve is intended to be high and Ubuntu is good for beginners. I've got discs of several distros and try all new ones that come out. I started with Ubuntu but now really like Fedora.
