Keeping the plane in the frame is the hardest part!! It's much harder than flying.

Planes are beautiful! Great flying! And kudos to the videographer! Great work keeping the plane in the lens!

Thank you for the information, I see that there's a shop in the east of England called Pegasus Models which imports SIG kits and that SIG supply a float kit of a similar size to yours. Plan to buy a set after Christmas.

We used the Sig 1/4 size set on the 4*60 in the video. However, they were a bit wide for that plane so we narrowed and reduced their height about 1/2" and also lengthened them about 3/4" in the nose.
I've built about 3 of that Sig float kit. They work great.
Just remember, you are better off with extra floatation than not enough.

I plan to fit floats to my Senior Telemaster.
What size floats did you use and what size engine?

The floats are 1/4 scale size at 46" length but with a bit narrower width than normal. They came from Len's R/C Enterprises in Trail, British Columbia, Canad.
The plane has also been extensively modified.
The engine is an OS FSR 1.08. That's a bit larger than what the kit calls for, but you can never have too much power, especially on floats.

LoL when ya see someone out retrieving the plane in canoe or boat then i guess the landing wasn't so good..nice flying nice planes

Depends on what you mean by the landing wasn't too good. It's the aftermath where the problem occurred.
He cut the engine while taxiing up to the dock - a bit too soon - and the plane did not quite coast up to us. While still about 3 feet away, it got blown away. So while the landing was OK, and all additional flights that day worked out fine, the first taxi back needed a rescue.
He almost fell in the lake trying to catch the drifting plane before we got the canoe.
