Building a Kid's Clubhouse.wmv

This may give you ideas on building a kid's clubhouse. It was great fun doing it. I used mainly reclaimed 4'x2' lumber. For the 4'x4' upright posts, I used 2'x4' pieces and screwed them together. If you have any questions, I'll be glad to help. This structure doesn't need to be cemented into the ground - the width, height, and weight make it very difficult to be moving anywhere. However, with a few guys, it can be shifted to different positions. I placed the four uprights on paving slabs. Seems to work fine.

Thanks for the video. I'm going to use your basic plans to build one for my kids. I ahve a couple questions. How long were the bolts you used to connect the floors to the side posts? Did they go all the way through to the other side and connect with a nut and washer? Also, is the "secret hatch" connected with a hinge?
