Safemotherhood Song, Pakistan

This song was developed by the district health department Chakwal through the technical and financial support of Ministry of Health and UNFPA, Pakistan, and reflect three crucial delays causing mothers and newborn deaths during pregnancy. On one end, it significantly highlights the role of Lady Health Worker (LHWs) and Village Health Committe (VHCs) for supporting timely referral of pregnant ladies to health facilities for skilled birth attandence, and on the other end, avalibility and provisions of quality mother & child health services through skilled staff at the health facilities in rural areas of Pakistan.
