A tape that sticks even under water - tesa® 4600 Xtreme Conditions

Adhesive bonding without adhesive and welding without welding equipment? Sounds too good to be true! But it works -- definitely. The new tesa® 4600 Xtreme Conditions mends, locks and protects even under rough conditions. No matter if there is a leakage, hole or if something needs protection from environmental influences: tesa developed a special tape for all of these problems, which lives up to its name and is easy to handle anyway.

tesa® 4600 Xtreme Conditions is made out of silicone and is a self amalgamating tape, which can be used in very harsh environmental conditions, such as high temperature, long term UV exposure for outdoor applications, high voltage electrical insulation, wet surfaces, or in contact with various chemical substances. When wrapped on itself the tape immediately creates a permanent hermetic seal. Nevertheless the new tape, that is available in transparent or black, does not leave any residues on the surface when removed.
