well, you can't really judge a band by one cover. at all. maybe this song doesn't suit you but maybe you would really like some songs of their new album merriweather post pavilion check out my girls, summertime clothes or in the flowers. they're amazingly original and unique and that's tough to find today.

Today I just heard one song by them. One song. It took one song for me to realize that Animal Collective is a fucking crock of bullshit. An actual collective of animals could produce better music than these fuckers. They don't even need to be animals that even produce sound. I'd rather "listen" to a fucking octopus quartet than Animal Collective.
this is very interesting. in the way reading a research paper is interesting. i'm serious. this is definitely a new style of music and these guys have some sort of musical talent. but, can anyone listen to this more than once? (i mean, when not on acid)
