I went there once while staying in the next village. My main target was to go and climb Mt Snowdon. I did not realize that Portmerion was so close by. I knew the prisoner was filmed there so I went there on my last day. It is such a mesmerizing place and the weather was beautiful. I was very lucky and it is a great memory.
