Yes , I know it was from 2007 but as I said, there was no Nightafore at this years celebrations (2008) as I believe they had to make huge savings and the Nightafore was axed - shame as it was much nicer than the street party on the 31st.

Yes that what I mentioned. :) It was pretty cool, I met some Australian girls staying in my hostel room who thought the hairy monsters were scary, they are called Yuoclund, they are from France.
The monsters are meant to be strange, in the Hogmanay brochure they refer to it as eccentric.
