Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change hours before his arrest on March 28th, 2009

On March 28th, 2009 The film crew for the forthcoming documentary film "Three Weeks In September" visited Ground Zero and met with Luke Rudkowski of We Are Change.
Luke and the members of We Are Change have spent nearly every weekend for the past several years informing visitors to the hallowed site about a number of issues related to 9/11. One of those issues, is the current health crisis now facing tens of thousands of 9/11 First Responders because of their exposure to toxic air quality conditions at Ground Zero.
Luke took time to speak with us about the struggle of 9/11 First Responders to obtain proper health care and benefits that are already supposed to be going to them. Here is a portion of that interview.

Approximately six hours later, Luke was arrested for trying to exercise his First Amendment Rights while advocating for the recognition of the health issues those 9/11 First Responders now face.
