Q City Soundz-Tut Burks-Sankofa Soulz

Recently Tut received a grant from the "Meet the Composer" foundation, to modify one of his compositions for a youth band known as the Q CITY SOUNDZ. The band recently performed at its annual Toy Giveaway where Tut was interviewed and the song was performed and presented in front of the community.

The song and concept he chose was Sankofa. His composition is entitled "Sankofa Soulz" and was the perfect conduit to deal with African based rhythms and vibes as well as allowing the students to understand what Sankofa means. This was all made possible by the Quest Youth Organization, inc....whose CEO is Thomas Fishcer.
