Right now I'm trying to find the Sidney Potier, Dorothy Danridge and Sammy Davis Jr. movie verson of " Porgy and Bess," right now on DVD.

Don't you like them too???!!!! But it's nice to know I'm also getting a young audience. More young people would be receptive to classics if they were exposed to it more often.

Great selection! It's just a shame that so few people nowadays even appreciate this sort of music. Too many think of it (and other works) as "old-fashioned" and "boring," not recognizing the power of rich melody and elaborate rhythm, as well as of evocative lyrics.
You won't hear music like this blaring out of a car with blown-out speakers three lanes over, that's for sure! =^[.]^=
