this is kinda stupid as a demonstration of kinect, its cool for the 3d enviroment there is but all you are doing with kinect is generating WASD keys, or whatever keys you use to move on the software, its really simple to do.

Wouldn't it make more sense and be more natural to use 1 step forward to move forward, 1 step back to move back (or 2 steps back if you're moving forward in which case 1 step back would make you stop), and 1 step left or right to "strafe" in those directions? (Turning with your head is fine though, but you could turn your body about 45 degrees then use your head to look around although I guess you don't need look around left or right at least since you have screens on either side.)

oBLACKIECHANoo has a point, it is relatively straightforward to configure the Kinect with a 3D CAVE and that is the beauty of it. I hope to configure it with more intuitive movements such as stepping forward and stepping back as suggested by Corellianrogue as well as to integrate voice controls to activate menus etc..
