I'll do my feedback a bit different this time. I'll also be doing a review on this "racing radiator."

Since I could not find a tutorial or help in installing a universal fan for radiators, I decided to ask Mishimoto for a mounting diagram. Suprisingly, they responded in less than a day with promising results.

Hopefully some of you will find this video helpfull.

Install at your own risk. Good luck and Godspeed^^

  • can yo show us how to wire the fan.. im getting confused...

  • @hmglor Sorry, I don't have the car anymore. To wire it, you just simply plug the connector into your OEM plug port. It's a direct fit--unless your car's connector is a bit smaller than the connectors. Make sure you do not cut any wire or parts on your car. You may need to re-do the wires from the fan but must NEVER SPLICE OR CUT your car's wire or parts mounted to your car.

To test the wire's proper rotation, turn on your AC and watch its rotation.

  • To those who want superior cooling and never uses A/C, just remove the condenser. It's the number one thing that restricts the airflow to the radiator. Especially in the winter, nothing blocking the radiator will extremely increase performance since the radiator is being cooled way way faster than with a condenser in the front.

  • @n3rdbear That's a good idea...But I prefer to live in comfort rather than performance.

  • did u keep ur ac

  • @juniorc001 If you're referring to my AC unit, I kept it. But the OEM AC fan needs to be replaced with an aftermarket fan because the radiator doesn't have a mount for it. I sold the AC fan after my car was totaled.

And now, I have a Celica. Bye bye, Honda.

  • @Juinor I just hope it isn't your water pump or a leak in your head gasket that allows the fluid enter the combustion chamber. If that's the case, it'll be quite expensive just for the parts itself. Head gasket replacement can take up to 2 days if you take your time to get it done with all the torque specs and adjustments. Water pump can be a pain because some cars have a compact engine bay.

  • @Zeron18 Thank you, I will get you back on that soon, Thank whole bunch..man, I'm going to subscribe.

  • @Juinor Have you checked your fuse relays? There's one that activates your fan and another to open the bypass. There are several factors such as water pump, air bubble in the engine, dead relay and so on forth.

You sure your fan is working properly? Check the return hose to see if it's cool.

If all else fails, take it to a mechanic. That's what I did when my head was warped and needed a leak-down test to verify the gasket was blown and head warped.

  • I have a problem with my radiator, it keep overheat for no reason.

    1. I have already check my radiator, no leak, bought a new radiator and install it

    2. I have already buy a new cap

    3. I have already install a new thermostats

4.All tubes are in good condition

But fuck why it keep overheating? Can anybody help me?

I noticed that the fan isn't spinning, is that involve with the thermal sensor too?
