JulyZerg vs Anytime[gm] (FPVOD)

SKY Proleague 2005, JulyZerg vs Anytime[gm] @ Forte, JulyZerg First Person.

I didn't bother with the entire game, both players held back the entire time without any fights, just building up, but this last few minutes are lots of fun :-)

Watch the minimap and the red trail of non-stop units from all of July's bases directly towards Anytime's location. The classic JulyZerg style that was feared by all for such a long time.

I have to make a note here, I'm not 'back' for uploading, just returned home for a couple of days so I can upload a few videos here and there, but I won't be home again for a couple of weeks now so I can't even see the comments or anything, I'll try to upload some videos every here and there, I still have around 11GB of very good VODs and Starcraft videos I didn't get to upload yet :-)

Great job wifebeater232, Jon747, StarfoxFire, and all other uploaders :-) I always watch your videos when I get back home since I can't follow/download the Progaming ongoings as before.

Protoss simply have the best late game units. Archons/templars/reavers massacre Zergs with their aoe, and both dragoons and zealots are fairly hard to take down when lings/adrenalings are eaten by aoe. If I've seen right, zergs ultralisks are the only unit possible to survive a full psi storm duration. In this game the zerg basically have too many bases to produce units from, so even if protoss managed to play his units well, they woudl've been outswarmed sooner or later.

@merl0c There are plenty of zerg units that can survive a psi storm. A full psi storm deals 110 damage if I'm not mistaken. So, mutas and muta based units should be able to survive with 120 for mutas, idk about the same for guardians, and 250 for devourers. In fact, lurkers also hold with 120, as well as ultras, which you mentioned.

the protoss did a poor job choosing the units - the dragoons are useless against zerglings (only 10dmg per hit). He should have produced much more zealots, archons, templars and reavers.
