  • the p-trap serving the island fixture should be considered the C/O as long as it is not a glue trap.

  • @MidwestWarfare The code calls for cleanouts to be furnished in the vent so the entire length of the vent can be rodded. If you could get the rod going upfrom the drain and then get it through the bow, I suppose you would be able to do it-- but I wouldn't want to be the one doing it! My interpretation would be that the fixture drain does not meet the intent of the code for furnishing a cleanout in the vent..
