i've noticed it too in watching recent videos of him. he usually plays a Taylor 9 series but ive seen this guitar in a few videos already. ive seen him use a martin in several videos, especially with songs that almost exclusively use the low 4 strings, like the stone (and warehouse). i want to say its a martin by looking at the headstock but it doesnt look like the typical dreadnought shape.

im not sure what kind of guitar this is but i think it might just be his new favorite 6-string. at the caravan he used it as his main guitar for all songs in standard tuning. crush, dont drink the water and bartender are all in drop D tuning so he uses a different guitar for those, some songs he plays on a 12-string, and other songs like shotgun and sister and idea of you he uses a mini guitar. nice to have unknowingly enjoyed the weekend with you!

I notice that Dave uses a different guitar throughout this entire show (as opposed to his usual Taylor). Does anyone have any insight into not only what sort of guitar model this is, as well as why he is switching things up? Just curious if anyone out there is wondering the same thing.
