During this whole song I played the whole cut scene of six's death. From the moment he took his helmet off to the moment he was stabbed by the energy sword to his helmet left in the ashes of Reach. I can never not have this play in my head when I listen to this. We will miss you Noble 6. We will Remember!

People say this was a bad ending.... How? It left you empty, like it was supposed to. You couldn't say another word. You can't change a thing, even though you wanted to as the game left you wanting to save the day. Thing is, you can't. You won, but you lost Reach. It's an empty, dry ending that leaves Noble 6's death sour and dark, making it seem just gruesome and numbing.
I for one felt numb as I watched him die. Empty, knowing this was it. Bungie's last game. And I couldnt change it.

I think this song, is more heroic than sad. It is still sad though, but if you think about it; he sacrificed his life, like most heroes do.
