Skill level: 1/5 -- Tool requirements: 1/5 -- This video shows you how to properly check your automatic transmissions fluid level. It also tells the proper fluid type for this vehicle. This is for 96-2000 model Honda Civics, and the fluid type is for automatic (non-cvt) transmissions.

  • Supertech? really?

  • @alondrapr2002 lol so somebody noticed. It's the beat up car that I have so I don't really invest to much into it.

  • Thanks.....did you notice if your dip stick was in there tight or loose??

  • @BrianLeeUSA73 yes, it was in there loose, and to fix that I would need to purchase a new dipstick. Good point there, this is a very common problem for the 96-00 model civics.

  • Ahh shit...that's why my civic's transmission is so fucked up. I have no more fluid! Rofl.

  • Hi Buddy, I have a 93 ford Truck E-350 1 Ton Econoline - Van and something happened with the transmission (automatic), full fluid level its OK but when into 1 and 2 .... the truck runs good but for 3rd and 4th the RPMs go up and up (foot on gas accelerating), but the truck doesn't speed up .... i'm stuck on 1st and 2nd...

    -Solenoid problem ?

-Should I reset by disconnecting battery ?

-No OD light flashes in dashboard.

    -No ''CHECK ENGINE'' light.

    Thanks for any help ...
