For people who think I have a deal with panasonic;I think that eventually oled or amoled will be the next step in tv screens. Much better then lcd, probably better then plasma.
And oh yeah, the panasonic remotecontrol for my tv sucks. had to replace it for €100 and failed the same way. So great screen but crappy remote

Also don't get fooled on LED TV. They are simply lcd in disguise. Only the backlight is LED
Granted, led is better, but still LCD is no match for plasma
As for energyconsumption. LCD is constant. plasma depends on the brightness of the picture.
plasmapixels emit light themselves, lcd pixels filter backlight. hence a wider spectrum in both color and grayscale. Ever wondered why a face looks kinda flat on a (cheap) LCD? Thats why.
BTW Panasonic has a new range of energyefficient plasmas (Neo-pdp)

This salesman has got no clue about quality-differences. "Ït's not like there's anything wrong with plasma..." NO, dude plasma is just ten times better in colorrepresentation and contrast ratio. FACT. You can just look it up. This type of moron shows up in every store anywhere in the world. And this bullshit artist wraps the regular Joe around his finger. Look it up. Plasma doesnt need filtering, whereas lcd is stuffed with compensationfeatures for shortcomings in the lcd technology

He must have a overstock of LCDs to get rid of. Every other review says plasma is a better viewing experience for the price.
I just bought a 50 Panasonic plasma after carefully looking everything in the price & quality range.

I use to have an LCD, and i upgraded to Plasma, Trust me there better. Plasmas fucking rule when it comes to Picture quality on Blu-Ray !!!

@moneristov Get a plasma its much better but its way more expensive but if you can afford it then buy it but if you cant then just get an LCD. Its really the same but LCD's are brighter
