Gender power appeal

Gichugu Member of Parliament Martha Karua is hoping she would be able to mobilize the vote of women, to boost her presidential bid in the 2012 General Election. Karua said the time has come for the collective voice of women to be heard and the power of the people to be respected. She was speaking at a gala dinner organized to celebrate women in leadership.

Karua should have waited for some years,the current political dispensation is too charged going in mind that the last presidential candidate to be declared winner was sworn in at night and the second in votes had also stolen elections in some constituencies in Nyanza.This is time to vote for a third force which has never been in the current era of politics.MWANZO MPYA!!

Martha Karua is hated by ODMers because she brought RAILA dreams to a screeching halt. The elections were fraudulent and Kriegler report blamed both parties. Martha Karua had offered a solution to have all 210 constituencies re-tallied but was shot down. Martha Karua was the only one who resigned willingly from the Grand Coalition. Right now there is no other leader with the integrity of Martha Karua apart from Peter Kenneth. Go Martha Karua

The misconception that Martha quit gov't cause of 'not being rewarded' is so out of touch! Look at Martha and who she has been and continues to be - an advocate of the Kenyan people, that is what drives her! I would rather have someone who is angered and so called 'combative' for my rights as a Kenyan than one who is angered by selfish interest such as not enough carpet!
