Remembrance day is a day for all of us to pay tribute and remember what ALL vets did for our freedom...That includes Vietnam, Korea, WWII AND current wars in the middle east as well...any person who has the courage to stand for Freedom and bear arms for his/her country should be honored on this day!

Americans don't celebrate Remembrance Day. I'm sure they do something though. Remembrance Day marks the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when Armistice was reached and the guns finally fell silent. The last soldier killed in WWI was Henry Gunther,(USA) killed 60 seconds before the cease-fire. At precisely 11:00, all Commonwealth and European Allies observe two minutes of silence to commemorate the great sacrifice of ALL soldiers who died, and continue to die, for our freedoms.
