@YargDisease I don't know about utley there, it sounds like he's losing bone cartilage in his knee..scary stuff. Lol you swept the Astros...how's that an accomplishment? They have one of the worst offenses, and rotation in the mlb..right in front of the pirates. Still congrates though, win is a win. Chipper may be 38 but still how does a batting stance increase injury? And most people come back from an ACL regardless of age?
@Ruro00 we are doing fine with valdez for now and utley is predicted to be back by all star break. Look up phillies opening weekend. We swept that shit. With key players hurt. Not many teams in either league click like the phillies and THAT is a fact. Chipper is older than ALL of those guys you mentioned.
@YargDisease No I didn't say anything about sucking facing the astros? o_O If higher bat speed is an issue how about Howard, Utley, Ike Davis, Albert pujols, have "injury issues.. That doesn't make any sense, batting stances have never been an issue with injuries for batters unless their like bent over backwards or something out of the ordinary. On a side note have the phillies come up with anything for second base yet? Haven't been paying much attention to it, but just wondering.
@Ruro00 Braves fan logic. Phillies suck because we played the astros yesterday? alright....Yes higher bat speed is a result of more power. More power in more physical strain.
@YargDisease How does having an increased bat speed lead to injury? It doesn't make sense at all? People recover from ACL injuries...it's an extremely rare case when someone doesn't and chipper has proven he's not feeling any pain whatsoever. That doesn't make sense.. Sure show up with your rotation, but the braves are a more balanced team with a stronger line up and BP. Heard the phils get their first game today, shame it's the astros. lol
@YargDisease uh huh =P we'II see, but it does Iook Iike his bat speed has increased since years past. Sure wilI be interesting. Nice job kicking CastiIIo back out, best use a rookie anyway than a person even the mets don't want

@Ruro00 I would rethink it dude. Chipper may have one average year left in him but be realistic. he is old.
