I made this Granny ripple afghan for our neighbors little girl, Morgana. The pattern I used was called Lavender Hills found in a book, but I changed it to suit me. I wrote out my version of this pattern and published it to my website: http://www.freewebs.com/bethintx/grannieripple.htm

There is a similar free pattern on the Project Linus website:

  • Do you have a tutorial of this blanket?

  • @tbel1ma Yes. Grannie Ripple tutorial. I'll add it as a video response.

  • Beth, thank you for responding to my inquiry. I usually design all of my projects. I just love the color combination you use. I have pick up all of your colors except the baby boucle. I don't known if that's the brand name or the color for the multi, its hard to search for exspecially with the brand name. if you have any further information or any other subsitution for the multi, please feel free to impart>thanks, jashford0512

  • @jashford0512 I found it! It's Bernat Baby Boucle`. Color name Fancy Free.

  • Hi Beth, i am new to you tube and just came across your channel and videos. i found your pattern per your directions for this blanket. I loved the colors that you used. If possible, could you post the brand name of the yarns you used? i know you stated that you used Red Heart Kids for the Pink and Green(lime maybe)? and a teal green color(what brand/color) and i think you said a baby blue boucle for the variegated? Not sure) please give the brand and color if possible. Thank You: jashford0512

  • @jashford0512 I no longer have that information. Often I use yarns without labels or discontinued yarns.

The multi is baby boucle ( I really don't know the color name) The green is either lime or Spring green. Besides You do not want to make the exact same blanket I did. You should be your own designer! I start with the multi colored yarn and chose my solids from that.
