Yes, it is just like any engine...it can be made to go faster...but I don't recommend it. The Solex was designed to be economical and reliable, not fast or powerful. You can see videos of Solex racing bikes and Solex races on Youtube.

These old Solexes are made very well...very good quality. This Solex was made in 1977 in France.
