Recorded February 20, 2008.

The Island Territory of Bonaire is one of five island areas of the Netherlands Antilles, consisting of the main island of Bonaire and, nestled in its western crescent, the uninhabited islet of Klein Bonaire. Together with Aruba and Curaçao it forms a group referred to as the ABC islands of the Leeward Antilles, the southern island chain of the Lesser Antilles. Bonaire has a land area of 111 square miles. Bonaire's population was 14,006 inhabitants in 2006. Bonaire is world renowned for its excellent scuba diving and is consistently rated among the best diving and Caribbean diving locations in the world. Bonaire is also famed for its flamingo populations and its donkey sanctuary. Kralendijk is the capital city and main port of the island of Bonaire.

The video begins as we sail into Bonaire's harbour on the Crown Princess. After disembarking the ship I visit Gotomeer Lake, Washington Slagbaai National Park and the island's capital city Kralendijk. During the video we see Bonaire wildlife, lizards, flamingos and a donkey. The video concludes as we sail away from the island on the Crown Princess after a beautiful sunset.

  • imho it's funny how unable english/american people are to pronouncing words correctly when they are not written in english/american.. you kinda say BON-AIR. that's not how this is called! :D

  • @riveraj78 Puerto rico ????

  • Your info has become outdated. Bonaire is not part of the Netherlands Antilles anymore. The Netherlands Antilles have ceased to exist as a country on 10 10 2010. They had a referendum and Bonaire chose to return itself to The Netherlands. It is now part of Holland.

  • why is they not pushing out the slaves outa their slave huts in the begining of the video
