I enjoy your show on PBS, sometimes, but remember people she is pushing her books, etc. she is a sales woman. She may have 'cured' herself by eating certain foods or maybe she really didn't have the illness that she said she has. I know of a wonderful woman I worked with many years ago, strictly vegetarian. She had died of breast cancer at only 46. She was stricly vegetarian for years.

It is really amazing that doctors don't think ones diet has anything to do with ones health or healing/recovering from a disease. Why do people waste their time and money seeing these people that can't even believe or accept the truth? Western medicine is lost.

@ccm800 Ahh, personal attacks, the sign of a truly impressive mind. Oh yeah, she's been interviewed hundreds of times, no question about that. Investigated? Hardly. Not once, in fact. No one has ever asked for the full facts. I.e., names of doctors, hospital and dates of admission, asked to see medical reports, lab results, etc. Funny thing is, if you tell a lie ofter enough, you can get lots of people to believe it. Cite a SINGLE article where an investigation was done? Thought not.

@ccm800 Great comeback. When her husband called me, complaining about my questioning her story, he too raised the "don't you realize she helps lots and lots of people" claim. He never offered to provide anyone with any of the FACTS regarding her claim of having been cured of leukemia. Not a big surprise. Hard to prove something if it didn't happen, I guess.

@ccm800 Endocrinologists do not treat leukemia.There are NO -- repeat NO -- cases of lifelong spontaneous remission involving Acute Lympocytic Leukemia ever documented medically. Plz cite to any medical article -- not the bogus story of a charlatan. If it truly happened at U. of Penn. (great cancer hospital), the doctors would have written medical journal articles about it. Charlatan stories are not proof. Lots of parents of kids with leukemia have asked for proof, and she wont give any.
