The Searchers sing an original composition by Chris Curtis in 1965. This is also from the first record that features new member Frank Allen 'Sounds Like Searchers."

  • Forerunners of our very own Byrds with 12 string guitars & tight vocal harmonies!!

  • Searchers are very special! Reminds me of the good old days in the 60 is!

  • Happy Birthday USA, my friend, Percy!! Me and my friend, JazzyL888 are running your this wonderful song as lead tune on each of our channels! And you know it's because Chris Curtis wrote it and he is THE MAN!!! :-)) Cheri/CCF

  • @ChrisCurtisFan I agree. Chris has a unique voice very distinct to the ears. He should have done more vocals!

  • one of my favorite Searchers songs! I really love here the sound of the guitars, I call them heavenly guitars :-) and of course the fine vocal harmonies makes me dream! what would be the 60's without the Searchers? can't imagine...

  • Unfortunately we have lost Chris Curtis a man of great talent his legacy lives on,His memories and his love for music will always be apart of the Searchers sound, Tezza the Manch..........

  • Ringing guitars, sweet harmony vocals, and tight percussion this definitely "Sounds Like The Searchers! Chris Curtis was an extraordinary talent complete with a really cool sense of humor! He was one of the main reasons I liked The Searchers! I had no idea that he was the one who chose their material, his taste was impeccable! RIP C.C. you were high among the best! Thanks Y T!

  • A good song, enjoyed listening to it.

  • A beautifully composed and well arranged song. Lead vocals Pender & Curtis, with Allen joining in on occasion. Could this be Chris Curtis's finest composition ? Answers on a postcard...
