  • What you are referring to may be a matter of how the text was interpreted. The 42 Divine Principles of the Goddess Maat were written at least 2,000 years before the Ten Commandments of Moses and are one of Africa’s, and the world’s, oldest sources of moral and spiritual instruction. It is what it is. We'll just have to find a way, if possible, to extract what we can from it or leave it.

  • If each day we affirm, I love my neighbor as I love my self, I do unto others as I would have them do unto me, I take responsibility for my actions. Imagine if just these few things were said in the hearts and minds of every man woman and child, how the world would change in an instance, for real, no more waiting for change and hopin on hope. I'm just saying. The whole "Did you do this or that?" "No your honor, I did not" sounds like court, no truth to me. What is the correct interpretation?

  • I have a problem with the "not" part. Could these have been more positive in affirming self and righteousness? "Not" removes from center of self. "not" defies. "Not" incriminates. "Not" sets in bondage and augers guilt. How can one be released from a heavy heart with "Not"? Saying I have, brings upliftment and affirms character. It affirms having lived these principles, I am free to make transition. I have left behind a healthy legacy..

  • Magnificent. Far more civilized than today in spite of modern technology and knowledge. You can put a flintstone in a jet but he's still a flintstone.
