Ricer is a prejorative term referring to CHEAP asian import cars that are modified (light or heavy) and are usually driven by asians, though not necessarily restricted to just them. A white guy can drive a 'ricer'.
A Skyline is not a ricer. You wouldn't call an NSX a ricer would you?

The Ford GT is a modern car. The GT40 was a Le Mans racer from the late 1960s, known for winning the 24-hour race four times in a row and designed to beat Ferrari.
When Ford revived the GT nameplate they realized that they had not reserved the trademark on the GT40 name and, in fact, Pep Boys had taken over that label. Ford was forced to change the name of their supercar, and went with the Ford GT that is on the road now.
So, yes, they're different vehicles.
