i love the way the guy @7.20 was looking around for cordage and yet was wearing the famous "survival" bracelet,sickens me the way it's become more fashionable than practical among the outdoor community.

If you want to see hardcore hypothermia resistance, consult "Wim Hof" .

Dave, Great start to the cold water series. I live in Hurricane, WV. It's nice to see a local boy in your video. I have a recommendation. When you are adding your narration increase the volume. There were a couple time you sounded muddled/muted, so it was hard to understand what you were saying. Keep up the good work.

Dave were they allowed to bring what they considered the "right gear" or was the evolution per say provided with gear for them to choose from?

@Snowalker13 They were allowed to choose thier Knife,and Clothing, they were each given the same gear otherwise, 1 PF Fire Kit, w/Mini Inferno, 1 Reusables Reflective Space Blanket, 1 Wool Blanket, and 1 Metal Container, They were left to what they carried for Cordage.
