  • Dave were they allowed to bring what they considered the "right gear" or was the evolution per say provided with gear for them to choose from?

  • @Snowalker13 They were allowed to choose thier Knife, and Clothing, they were each given the same gear otherwise, 1 PF Fire Kit, w/Mini Inferno, 1 Reusables Reflective Space Blanket, 1 Wool Blanket, and 1 Metal Container, They were left to what they carried for Cordage.

  • i love the way the guy @7.20 was looking around for cordage and yet was wearing the famous "survival" bracelet, sickens me the way it's become more fashionable than practical among the outdoor community.

  • Where is part 2? :)

  • When you were commentating, were you really there?

  • How should they have dealt with this if it was continuously raining?

  • "I think the one fella that got hypothermic thought he was still at home on his couch he didn't move a muscle lol!!!"

  • If you want to see hardcore hypothermia resistance, consult "Wim Hof" .

  • omfg cut off some parachord or bring more with you.

  • @1974mountainman oh thats not so good :S i was thinking of getting one but i guess i can't argue with in field work so maybe i'll look into other options. thanks and good job btw!

  • Dave, Great start to the cold water series. I live in Hurricane, WV. It's nice to see a local boy in your video. I have a recommendation. When you are adding your narration increase the volume. There were a couple time you sounded muddled/muted, so it was hard to understand what you were saying. Keep up the good work.

  • I think this kind of video series will be very attractive to a lot of folks, Dave. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!
