I wanted to Cerakote this blade because I have heard that Cerakote does a fantastic job at protecting metal and does not chip. Plus I wanted my knife in a flat dark earth color :). This is done with Cerakote's flat dark earth color and is the "C" series (i.e. " Air dry). The "H" series (thermal bake on) is supposed to be more durable than even this, but I had some of this left over after doing a gun.

Before you do this to your knife, please visit NIC Industries (makers of Cerakote) web site for detailed tips and instructions.
