  • Nice! You did a great job! Can I see it with it set to smooth please?

  • Cool beans

  • @richmeister4eva ok, thats beyond my skills :D

  • @YayJike problem is the mesh render appears to have been modelled wrong, if we were shown the actual mesh pre-imported to octane we would see a fluid mesh but its the render that fails to show it by re-triangulating it, i know it sounds very pedantic but its a pet peeve lol :P

  • @richmeister4eva doesn't matter. As long as the quad polyflow is working the model remains well modelable... :)

  • @jonathancarter26 ouch, thats got to be kind of a downer when you give it 100 quads and it does this, is there any way to prevent that problem because if you didn't tell me that there were 100 quads there and it was re-triangulated, i would of thought that the model was not modelled correctly,

    -Richard

  • @richmeister4eva actually the appearance of a triangle is caused by Octane triangulating the mesh upon render time. The actual mesh is 100 quads.

    -Jonathan

  • does the apparent triangles at 0:03 not put you off, they do to me when im modelling lol
