I think he is soooo cute! My daughter who just turned 1..LOVES ELMO!!! I can't wait till Christmas morning and she sees what santa left her!!

Elmo live:-

Motors are too loud.

Can't be used without the crappy plastic stool.

Rock hard body.

Tickle me Elmo could at least stand itself up after falling.

Jokes and stories repeat too much.

If you look under the red skin, there are no complex parts, just cogs and string, with the hands on springs.

Annoying crappy expensive toy that eats batteries.

i brougt elmo live encore for my girlfriend today

I have the elmo live encore I got on amazon for 49.99 4 days ago. The motor is quieter, but it sounds like he kind of screams at me. He sings elmos world which I know most of the kids know. And it comes with a yellow stool instead of blue. I haven't tested everything, but elmo live seems to have cuter phrases. Both of them are good though. Maybe one for christmas and one for his birthday just to have a change. check out the elmo live encore review video

We bought this for our son who will be 9 months around Christmas time, and my husband had to hide it from me because I keep pushing the buttons. Has anyone see the Elmo Live Encore? I wanted to know the difference between the 2, If i should take elmo live back for the encore?
