Filmed for The Old Grey Whistle Test, BBC TV, Live at Derby Assembly Rooms, Dec 6th 1983. This concert is usually misdated as having taken place on the 7th of December. Tickets were free & John Peel announced the ticket giveaway on his show. It was a very wild gig, the crowd was very energetic and constant....song requests were shouted by fans & Morrissey shushed them and shouted "No! This!"...A Mozza induced Mass Celebratory Stage Invasion Completed this fabulous concert........enjoy

I was there! I remember walking through Derby Market Place and was asked if I wanted some tickets for this show, as there were still plenty left. Which is nowadays seems amazing as the tickets were free anyway, but this was before the Smiths were well known. I also remember people were given flowers on the way in, obviously for the benefit of the TV cameras and threw them on cue for this charming man, one of the stems hit morrisey in the eye and they had to do the song again!
