V-One: Intro

My first Vlog:

I think I need to clarify a few things: the 'intro' video is basically to introduce myself in a humourous, self-deprecating way. It's not to be taken literally: that I have a complex about my appearance or anything. You would have understood that had you followed my blog and podcasts. That's what I mean when I say "kuraigal in quotes." When you put something in quotes, it basically means that you're using it the way it's commonly understood even though you don't agree with. So when I say "kuraigal" I'm simply saying that conventionally people think of these features as some kind of drawback and I don't agree with it at all. I'm giving a heads up to all my viewers that there will be some idiots who will try to take cheap shots at my appearance. And my self deprecation is a strategy to keep them away. It doesn't mean that I'm bothered by it.

I'm American, but I visited Gujarat this past winter. Your video reminded me of the fun I had there. I absolutely loooove India. I'm quite interested in South Indian culture as well...hopefully someday I could visit that part too. Anyways, keep the nice cooking videos coming! South Indian cooking can be difficult, but not as difficult with videos like yours.

Suresh very nice video and commentary. 2 varusham aachi since the video was posted, but I still feel compelled to comment as soon as I saw it. This video is special since this is the first time I have seen one of ours make a video of this kind and while doing so frankly and humbly explaining why its hard for us to be getting involved in these things.
