@mississami Some bands have to use backing tapes or sequencers to recreate some of the more complicated studio parts in a live setting. And VW only has four members, so unless they hired more band members for touring, they can't recreate all the parts live. A couple of the synth parts on "Contra" sound like they might have been sequenced in the first place, so it's not a big deal.

I love this band, both albums, and think they are very smart and very talented musicians and songwriters. With that said, who is even playing their instrument for the first two minutes of "White Sky"? Maybe someone is, but it appears and sounds is if it is just a mix at work. Even Chris's drums seem out of sync. Oh well, their vocals sound nice.
