Well a tribute to the author if indeed he has passed on. I remember the BBelles in the Pullman livery in early 70's. Often saw them whilst I was on upline to Waterloo between Esher and Surbiton. They crossed over via the viaduct to branch off. Although old and not in best condition, they were nonetheless exotic and conjured up romantic notions... Each car had mythological names...?
I remember them passing... never got to travel on them...

Good stuff,, just one criticism.. The belle had two tone raspberry horns by the time they were in Blue/grey livery.. not a whistle

yeah that is what I thought but it was sorted & i was just about to publish then I had a couple of mishaps one health wise ( I ended up in hospital for 12 days with concussion) the other one computer wise so alias this activity is lost forever , when I get sorted out I may attempt it again
