ebay Wants Deadbeat Buyers? Then Let Them Eat Cake

I have dabbled in other online stores, but while I make a little money from Amazon, Yahoo, and iOffer, the difference between all of them combined is still far less to what I make off eBay (hundreds compared to thousands of dollars).

neat video K. Here are my thoughts: I report EVERY deadbeat bidder, I do not eat anything. If they do not pay, I give them their strike. I can't afford to be cavalier about this as my cheapest item is $25 and many are over $100. As for bogus accounts, I created one last year for the sole purpose of negging non paying bidders who negged me. It worked just great so long as you do not get 2 UPI strikes per month. So if someone dicks you over and does not pay and then negs you, I say neg him back

I have a couple of alternate accounts. I don't use them for shill bidding though, I use them to neg bum buyers. I really target the people who get good service from me and decide to neg/neut me anyway. Those people tick me off the most. I don't swallow the fees either.  I just make sure to list as many items as I can before I report the unpaid items in preparation of the negging.

I'm having this problem now dead beat buyers but you can't leave feedback all I can suggest is set it so anyone with a non payment report against them can't bid on your auction that or buy it now with immediate payment

Unfortunately, there is no practical option to Ebay, that will definetly change, but it will be years away.

I had an Ebay deadbeat buy a guitar from me on 3-2, who emails me saying he had no money and didn't realize what Buy It Now means. He said he couldn't pay until the end of the week. Of course I never heard from him. Ebay said they would take action against this buyer because he had a past record of strikes. The catch is, in order to get your Final Value Fee back, you have to drop your strike against the deadbeat,

Ebay has pulled the final straw with me, I am over it after my last round where I have just had nothing but buyers bullying me.

I completely understand what you are going through, but I don't think hurting sellers is the way... it's just not right... I couldn't sleep at night if I did something like that... There are many NATURALLY BAD buyers on Ebay right now, they are destroying sellers naturally... Ebay is like a war zone now... I'm so glad I stopped selling - and buying... You are 100% right -Ebay does not care about its sellers, it just seems like an empty sociopathic venue.... and the buyers are soooo untrustworthy
