  • @StainedPink1 I know, right? People are always saying, "How can you be afraid of vomit?" Seriously, kids at my school will say, "Cover your ears. I am about to say something you won't like." People JUST DON'T GET IT unless they have it.

  • @xredefine i agree. id rather have a phobia of spiders.

  • There is nothing worse than emetophobia. You can run away from a spider or go on a road trip if you hate flying, but this phobia never leaves you, not for a second.

  • @XtoxicXcookieXdoughX You're the same as me.

I also have nightmares about vomit Dx

  • Emetophobia is in my opinion the worst possible phobia. Why I say this is because it can easily bleed and lead to other phobias. I started out with emetophobia, but then I started to get sea sick one time and now I have a fear of boats. Then flying caused nausea which lead to a fear of flying and heights. It bleeds so easily and cause many more phobias since many things can easily cause nausea, this is why I say of all phobias, this one is the most parasitic and worst

  • I thought I was the only one that has this fear.

  • Everytime I vomit I remember the exact time and date :/

  • @AsiaNeko

    Ooh, ok. Thanks ^_^

  • @XtoxicXcookieXdoughX It definitely can be emetophobia, just less severe!

  • Natalie is a brilliant communicator about this phobia. I love how she describes about functioning normally on the outside but inside she is distressed. The therapist was patronising and I don't think that exposure therapy is the way to help with this particular problem. This is a far deeper more consuming phobia than that of spiders or heights.
