Tonio Reyes was one of the great As The World Turns villians of the Douglas Marland years...and when Tonio's luck finally ran out, Marland decided to go with a lavish location shoot, in which Puerto Rico doubled for Montega. Tonio has just become engaged to Sabrina Hughes, as Duncan connects Tonio to James Stenbeck. Sabrinas father, Bob Hughes confronts Tonio and is shot in the back. Tonio takes Sabrina to Montega, with Duncan hot on the trail, and it all ends in a deadly confrontation. As a side note, much like his friend James Stenbeck, Tonio returned from the dead after this struggle....

The scene from 8:49 to 8:55 was part of the ATWT 40th Anniversary montage. Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood was the theme.

Honestly, what did Bob expect Tonio to do?!
My, Duncan's huge muscles are rippling and glistening in the hot Montegan sun. It's almost obscene. They seem to get bigger with each passing second. I wouldn't be crying over Tonio with that hunk coming to rescue me, no sir. He could probably bench press his castle. Michael Swan - so hot! Luke & Noah have miles to go before rivaling that sex appeal.
This almost plays like a tourism video at the end.
Claire Beckman resembled Julianne Moore a bit.
