@Muckruckuck I beg to differ. What defines metal is hard riffs and guitars with more intense vocals than more traditional rock bands (Beatles, Queen, etc.); and there isn't a genre called screamo. It's called deathcore. There's traditional metal (Ozzy, Metallica), Nu Metal (KoRn), Death Metal (Nile, Faceless), Black Metal (Amon Amarth, Deals Death), Thrash (Machine Head, Vio-lence, Pantera), and Deathcore. Those are the main categories of metal, with Deathcore included within it.
