@danewage Please do a little research. Joseph Smith was tried and convicted of "gold digging" and "mysticism" on several different occasions. He was convicted of destroying the printing press that would let the world know of his polygamous ways that he was hiding. The entire Mountain Meadows Massacre was because of the leaders of the church. When the law banned polygamy in Utah, several of the church leaders continued to practice it in secret.

@angelcollector22 Well, I know the question wasn't directed at me or anything, but I'm going to answer anyways. I consider a church false that claims certain things happened one way, while they actually happened in a completely different way. I consider a church false if they hide certain aspects of its history, and when a true believing member reveals some of these aspects, the church disciplines them for telling the truth.

@danewage The 3rd article of faith says it all. Mormon grace isn't free, it's merited grace. The sacrifice and atonement (at Calvery) wasn't sufficient. Obedience to the church, a full tithe, temple recommend and the new and everlasting covenant is required to live with Josephs god who lives in 1 place. Question is, how will you live with him when you become a god to populate a far away planet? Makes no sense.

Daniel Webster would roll in his grave over your misrepresentation of the word "hatred".

Although I think you could more easily use that word when directed to what Joseph Smith said of all other churches that existed at his time.

Even your early temple endowments poked more fun at the evangelical pastor than I am speaking against your teachings.

Thats sorta hypocritical of you to accuse someone of hatred who has shown no hatred of anything.

Its not against American law to lie to your congregation. Its not against American law to change the Bible to "Smiths inspired version" Its not against American law to wrongly translate a funeral scroll, its not against the law to change any of the EVERLASTING covenants......I am not talking of LAWS.....I am speaking of putting it all in the open and judging the validity of LDS claims.......LDS would lose!

First of all....

state the name of those judges that you claim have looked into the action of the church so that I can look it up and see if they were sympathetics to the Mormon church.

Secondly, I am saying that if the entire history, that means everything hidden was put on trial, LDS would lose.

Third, I am not speaking of criminal wrong doing anyway.....I am speaking of judging the LDS as a whole for its accuracies....it would FAIL

@danewage Isaiah 44:6 says that besides the true God, there is no god. Then verse 8 says Is there a God besides me? Yea there is no God: I know not any. Isaiah 43: 10 and 11 says before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I am the Lord: and beside me there is no savior. So according to this verse the Savior is God and there is no God besides Him.
