This guy is the definition of underrated. Maybe that's not the right word, underexposed? How he isn't seeing the same kind of explosive hype as other modern actors, I have no idea.

@elvaelvirababe What was so great about the last superman? I mean dont get me wrong it was okej, but Brandon didnt really capture the role that much, the acting was pretty stiff dont you think? Compare him to other comicbook heroes.

I love the way the interview asks him, "have you even *seen* the original Superman?", as though Michael Shannon has been under a rock for the last 50 years & has just now decided to crawl out, & is "frightened & confused" by the "tiny people in the magic box".

i can't fucking wait for Man of Steel, it's gonna be epic beyond words. I don't care what anyone says.. all I want is a visual ass kicking Superman, even if..for like 5 minutes Superman just is in a heated battle with Zod..and they toss a couple of slo mo punched back and forth.. even that will be enough.

Michael Shannon and Philip Seymour Hoffman are my favorite modern day actors. He sounds drunk though lol.
